Profile: Dr. David W. Jones

Dr. David Jones is a native of Macon, Georgia. He received his bachelor’s degree cum laude in Biology at Mercer University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his pediatric residency and his Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Emory University Egleston Hospital for Children. Dr. Jones is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Jones has practiced Pediatric Cardiology for over 37 years and is proficient in all aspects of Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Jones is the founder of Georgia Pediatric Cardiology. He is a former college basketball player at Mercer University and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Dr. Jones is the recipient of awards acknowledging his expertise including Bridges to Excellence: Physician Office Systems Recognition Program, NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home, Patients’ Choice Award (2017), and Dalton Hillard award by NCAA for 25 years of meritorious service.

Profile: David Farmer, PA

David Farmer is a physician’s assistant. He is originally from Akron, Ohio, but has resided in McDonough, Georgia for 20 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Akron, and a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mountain State University in Beckley, West Virginia. Mr. Farmer is married to Natalie, and they are the proud parents of one son, Aaron. Mr. Farmer has practiced medicine for 20 years, including 12 years in pediatric cardiology. He is an active member of Glen Haven Baptist Church and serves in the AWANA program.
