Profile: Dr. David W. Jones
Dr. David Jones is a native of Macon, Georgia. He received his bachelor’s degree cum laude in Biology at Mercer University and his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia. He completed his pediatric residency and his Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Emory University Egleston Hospital for Children. Dr. Jones is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Jones has practiced Pediatric Cardiology for over 37 years and is proficient in all aspects of Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Jones is the founder of Georgia Pediatric Cardiology and is married to Debbie Jones; they have three children (Emily, David, and Andrew). He is a former college basketball player at Mercer University and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Dr. Jones is the recipient of awards acknowledging his expertise including Bridges to Excellence: Physician Office Systems Recognition Program, NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home, Patients’ Choice Award (2017), and Dalton Hillard award by NCAA for 25 years of meritorious service.
Profile: Aderemi (Remy) Bakare
Bakare Remy: is a professional human resource manager/practitioner with knowledge, experience, and numerous skills including Benefits Administration, Payroll Processing, Compensation Analysis, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Managing Human Resources, Employment Laws, and Training, Development and Human Resources Strategy. Remy has over 20 years of cognate experience in HR practice and organizational administration.
Prior to joining New Day Medical Foundation, he has worked in various Human Resources Management positions, Managing Partner; Charis Consulting, Customer Advocate; Bank of America, Manager; Payroll and Compensation Vmobile Telecommunication, Head Human Capital Group; InterSwitch Limited, Head Human Resources Management; Oak Associate, Human Resources Consultant; Accenture, Head Employee Services and Salary & Benefits Administration; Savannah Bank, and Continental Trust Bank as Head Salary and Benefits Administration, etc. He is noted for his strong IT skills, persistent ability to deliver on time the first time, and the ability to interface at all levels of management.
He holds both a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management (MBA) (Course Work Completed) and B.Sc. Sociology and Anthropology with (Second Class (Honor’s Upper Division (21)) He was adjudged the best student in Research Methodology graduating set of 1996 and one of the best students in the whole of Social Sciences Faculty.
Remy is a member of recognized professional organizations; Professional Member; Society for Human Resource Management, Associate Member, Institute of Management, Associate Member, Institute for Training and Development, Graduate Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and Member, Industrial Relation Committee –Employee Consultative Association (ECA).
He has attended various courses, including the prestigious John Maxwell Leadership program, and has served on a voluntary base in many Christian organizations.
Profile: David Farmer, PA
David Farmer is a physician’s assistant. He is originally from Akron, Ohio, but has resided in McDonough, Georgia for 20 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Akron, and a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mountain State University in Beckley, West Virginia. Mr. Farmer is married to Natalie, and they are the proud parents of one son, Aaron. Mr. Farmer has practiced medicine for 20 years, including 12 years in pediatric cardiology. He is an active member of Glen Haven Baptist Church and serves in the AWANA program.
